Wellbeing
Welcome to East Farleigh's positive mental health and wellbeing page.
Here you'll find a range of information, top tips and activities to support your child's well-being.
“Handle with Care”
If your family is experiencing difficulty at home, or you child is coming to school after a difficult night, morning or weekend, please message your child’s class teacher on Class Dojo or send an email to wellbeing@east-farleigh.kent.sch.uk with the words, “Handle with Care”. Nothing else needs to be said or asked. This will just let us know that your child may need extra time, patience, help, and a lot more love during the day.
We have an incredible school community and by continuing to work together we can ensure that every child is able to thrive at East Farleigh.
Worried about your child's mental health?
You will find in the pages below some tips and help line numbers offering support, please remember that you are not alone - we are always here to help. Nip it in the bud!
Establishing an open, ongoing and non-judgemental dialogue can help your child understand their own mental health and that of others. It can also help end any stigma or preconceptions they may have.
