Geography of Greece

This week we have been learning about the geography of Greece. We discovered where Greece is located using atlases and looked at aerial photos to decide the human and physical features. We then considered the following questions:

1. What were the main geographical features in ancient Greece?

2. How did the mountainous regions of the Greek mainland affect the way of life for the ancient Greeks?

3. In what ways did the climate affect the formation of settlements in ancient Greece?

4. How did the ancient Greeks make use of the sea?
