Minibeasts
Happy Forest school Friday to all!!
Year 1 and I have had a brilliant day exploring all things bugs!
We learnt why bugs and mini beasts are so important to our planet.
Even though they might make us cringe, we need them to keep our planet working. They are also so important for our food.
We explored different types of mini beasts, looked under logs and rocks to see what we could find.
The children were very enthusiastic with what they found. They also all told me what their favourite mini beasts were.

Smores were a hit. The campfire chat was on form today as well. Oh and how could I forget, we read a beautiful story about the many different animals, bugs, birds and all things small in our gardens. Always remember, we are never alone in nature.
